Blue Springs Fitness:The Place to Be this Summer

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Blue Springs Fitness kicked off their summer with an open house that raised money for local athletes competing in the Special Olympics. The group exercise program took their bikes outside and those who didn’t want to ride tipped the riders as a way of showing support to the Special Olympics and the athletes they serve. Thank you to everyone who made it out for the car show and great barbecue from Zarda.

We are gearing up for some great classes this summer and hope you’ll pick up a schedule and give them a try. With the kids out of school, picking up a copy of Exercising Values will help show you how to help your children adopt a healthy, active lifestyle while enjoying some great family times with you. It will be available in bookstores and on Amazon later this summer but meanwhile Blue Springs Fitness has made it available for you to purchase an e-book version you can download at http://exercisingvalues.com. It is written by our own fitness instructor, Pam Davenport, the mother of six.

The summer will fly by faster than we think so this is the perfect time to look into personal training and group exercise classes. Our staff is here to help you be successful this summer. Bring a friend along to enjoy a class with you or maybe that student home from college.
