Blue Springs Fitness is going to start the Fall season off with a BANG! Starting in September we are adding some pretty exciting new programs to our members in order to seperate ourselves from the other gyms around town, and make us a more well rounded facility for our members.
BOOT CAMP! Starting on Thur. Sept. 2nd we will be starting up our brand-new boot camp program. We will be offering early morning and evening sessions in order to cater to our busy family and working people. The class will be held mostly outdoors when the weather permits, but can also be taught indoors when the need arises. Jennifer Stevens will be heading up the program, as well as member turned instructor Tabatha Martin. It is open to members and non-members for a nominal fee.
Women’s Self Defense as. The women’s self defense class will be starting on Sunday Sept. 12th. This will be a limited size class of 20 people. It is open to members and non-members for an extra fee. It will be held every Sunday evening for 8 weeks, and will be held in 8 week blocks from that point on. Instruction will come from 7th Degree Black Belt Coach Griffin. Coach (as he goes by) is very well know in the area and the martial arts community. He has close to 50 years of experience!!!
Jujitsu will also be taught by Coach Griffin throughout the week. If martial arts is something you are interested in doing, then there is no better person to learn from than “Coach”. He has more years experience in martial arts than most of us have been alive! We are proud and lucky to have him call Blue Springs Fitness home.
